Perfect corn bread
1 cup sifted flour. 1/4 cup sugar 4 teaspoons Baking Powder 3/4 teaspoon Salt 1 cup yellow corn meal 2 eggs 1 cup milk 1/4 cup shortening
Shift flour add sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in cornmeal add eggs, milk and shortening.
Beat lightly until just smooth. Pour into greased 9x9x2 inch pan.
Bake at 425 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

take all the ingriedients and put on fish fillets and it will taste great after frying. LOL

Dog on a stick, give it a dunk and drop it in the deep fryer... ...or just eat your cornbread with a big ole pot of musical fruit! Either way, it's all good.

I always make my cornbread with a big pot of beans. The two just go together.
