I don't know how much precipitation we will end up getting, but I'm going to dress as warmly as I know how tomorrow. I have to go to Wichita for my monthly pincushion experience (shot & lab work), and am NOT looking forward to being out in that cold.

Now the weather channel has dropped the chance of moisture so at least you should be able to expect dry roads.

If you haven't already, this is great opportunity to head to the range and road test your winter gear. Heavier clothes, gloves, shoes and such change everything.

True, but our cardiologist doesn't want us out exercising in less than 50°F weather. Before I was diagnosed with heart disease, I did practice with gloves on, just to see if I could flip the safety off, etc. I'm not too worried about the coats affecting my draw - I've taken that into consideration. Most jackets aren't much longer than my cover shirt. My very long heavy duty winter coat now has snaps for the closure. (Had a zipper when I bought it, but it broke. By that time, I had started carrying, so I decided to replace it with snaps instead.) My hubby rarely wears a coat & gloves, unless he's doing more than going in & out.
