You can say that again. LOL I hate surfing on my phone.
One time I was asked asked if I was carrying by a family member. I said yup. They said where. I lifted my shirt and had a pistol on all 4 corners. I used to be a ny reload kind of guy.
Now I find spare mags easy on the back and tummy.

Well there is upfront on right and upfront on left. If I had a SmartCarry holster made for that, I just might. I can shoot with either hand, and one of my CZs has an ambi safety, so I've actually considered it. Just haven't tried sewing up one. (Too many other sewing projects in line ahead of that.)

I've actually tried sewing a belly band once....pretty easy...lots of wide elastic and Velcro...it probably would of worked but I didn't feel that the trigger covering was stiff enough...I didnt want to chance it...I still have it somewhere....maybe I will pull I out and revamp it a bit...my girls thought it was hilarious that I was using the sewing machine...I told them that back when I went to school There was a class called home economics....where you got to work with the pretty girls..

I've got a BellyBand, but I don't like it near as well as my SmartCarry. Part of the reason is that the weight of the gun & spare mag is easier on my back, if I wear it down on my hips. Also, think it would slower to draw from. I replaced the velcro on both holsters, my sensitive skin just can't handle the scratching, plus I hate how long it takes to fasten the holster each time, since I have to line up the velcro just so. (And try to remember how tight to make it.) I've got some holster ideas, but am trying to fulfill promises I've made to my family first. My brothers all had to take sewing in 4-H. I don't remember any boys taking Home Ec when I was in it, but I think by the time I was a senior, some were. (I broke the gender barrier at our school by being the first girl in the Architectural class.)

It is fun to listen to how each of us have carried and why. I know I have explained how and why I carry the way I do. Now on just questions as to comfort and ease of draw from me.

I use a Williams Leather IWB at 4 o'clock. Had Clint make it tuckable as I wear a button up most of the time. I put my phone case over it so people that see a bulge assume it comes from the phone. The setup is very comfortable for me. I work for a company based in Canada, and we always hear about being war mongers when someone comes down from headquarters. Went to supper this week with one of them that was here, sat there listening to him blow with a 9mm on my hip. If he knew, he would have freaked.

I too used a Williams gun leather for 4 o'clock carry. Carried a G17 in it. Was good but I had call to need to get the gun out one time it took me too long. I carried that way another few months then said tk you know what is fast. That is me and what works for you all is fantastic. I love hearing about it.
I am sure the boss would have shut up and went home had he known. You carry what?

Mom how safe is the smart carry for a Glock? Is it stiff enough the trigger can't get accidentally pulled? The concept is one of the best for upfront carry I have seen but I figure it is too soft for me to want to carry a Glock in one.
I know everyone thinks I am not afraid of anything LOL but that isn't the case when it comes to soft holsters.
When I was carrying without a holster I was carrying a P 89 Ruger that had a safety which I left off since it had a very hard trigger pull in DA anyway.

Don't know how I'd feel about carrying a Glock in it. My CZ has an external safety, so that helps me to feel safer. I have accidentally taken the safety off while it has been in the holster, when I've brushed up against a table or something, but the safety isn't covered by the holster. Never had a ND even when the safety was off. There are several layers of fabric covering the trigger guard, and it is fairly snug, so I think it would difficult to pull a trigger, as long as there's a trigger guard, like most pistols have.

I reckon I need to see one. I thought they were made out of an old pair of Levis. Which wouldn't be something I wanted to stick my Glock into and stuff down the front of my pants.
I will reserve judgement on the smart carry until I actually see one.

Here's a picture of it. Shows a little more wear & tear now, but still durable. The denim is double layered in front. I don't know how many layers on the back side, because the side that faces the body is a softer white fabric.

As long a the pistol doesn't move around in it I reckon one could safely carry a Glock in one.
