If I remember correctly, when Clinton was in office, the Democrats were always in favor of military action. They just don't like it when a Republican is POTUS.

Clinton was afraid to act as a President to be commander in Chief.
Democrats are all about destroying our Republic.
They should know full well that if we bomb Syria that we are helping our enemies.
I find no reason to over throw a tyrant of those who practice jihad. In fact I would do all I could to keep him in power over those who practice Jihad.
He seems to be exterminating our enemies faster than we could.
One can't overlook the last 1000 years of mid eastern tyrannies It is the way of life there. It is none of our business really.
We aren't the world police.

I don't trust the O-man at the helm when it comes to things like this. He's already indicated if Congress doesn't approve it, he will likely do it anyway. He doesn't listen to those in the military at all, and his judgment is questionable as he seems inept in foreign affairs. Other that that, what could go wrong, right ? This seems to be more about a pipeline the Saudi's want thru Turkey and Syria, and would benefit the USA, Turkey and Europe , vs one that Iran wants to do thru Syria that would a benefit to Russia. The Saudi's were unable to bribe the Russia's , and getting the USA to do it's dirty work ? It seems more about which pipeline will be built, and who will be in control of it.. and who it will benefit. The battle for oil and natural gas. We should have supported the rebels before Al Qaeda groups got in there, 1-2 yrs ago..... rather than now. He's always an 1 hr late and a dollar short. pipelinesinternational.com/news/pipeline_projects_in_the_middle_east/040183/QatarTurkey is in negotiations to discuss the development of the Qatar – Turkey pipeline. The pipeline would run from Doha to Istanbul, a distance of approximately 2,500 km. The pipeline would carry Qatari gas to the Mediterranean Sea, crossing Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria, and may link to the proposed Nabucco gas pipeline.

It looks like he will get the go ahead. Too many Rhinos in the Republican party. I am registering to vote as Independent.
I know my vote don't count but dang it I do vote and if there is a country left after Obama is out of office I will go whole hog against the two party system once again.

I still think the best resolution in Syria is to trap all of the feral hogs in Okla & Texas, and turn them loose in Damascus.
