www.ksn.com/2013/07/23/pennsylvania-to-recognize-kansas-concealed-carry-permits/TOPEKA, Kansas – Pennsylvania will begin recognizing Kansas concealed carry license. The announcement makes Pennsylvania the 31st state to recognize the Kansas concealed carry license. The recognition will allow Kansas concealed carry license holders to lawfully carry concealed handguns in conformance with Pennsylvania law while traveling in that state. Pennsylvania’s recognition of the Kansas license comes in response to legislation proposed by the Kansas attorney general’s office and enacted earlier this year by the Legislature. Kansas now recognizes all valid out-of-state permits when the non-resident permit holder is traveling temporarily in Kansas. The new Kansas law requires those who move to Kansas to get a Kansas-issued license the same as all other Kansas residents. A complete list of states that recognize the Kansas concealed carry license is available on the Attorney General’s website at www.ag.ks.gov. There currently are 64,225 active Kansas concealed carry permits.

I'm tickled pink. That means one less CCL I'll need to renew. Not sure when we'll get to PA again, but it is good to be ready to go if need be.

I have no need or desire to go east. I hope we can get Wyoming soon.

I'm most interested in getting Illinois. It would be nice to be able to drive through IL knowing it is legal to stay armed.

I imagine it is going to be very hard for even an illinois resident to get licensed.

I imagine it is going to be very hard for even an illinois resident to get licensed. I feel sorry for those folks in southern Illinois, having to put up with the Chicago politics. At least they've got this far, maybe in time they'll improve even more, but I'm not going to hold my breath. It would be great to have IL recognize a KS CCL, but I don't expect it to happen in the near future.

I do as well although they should out number the idiots up in Chicago.
In a place the cemetery votes Democrat it is hard to get anything reasonable done according to any Constitution in any state.

I can't imagine having to put up with Chicago politics, since we have it in Wash now too. I understand they had a voter fraud occurrence in Chicago, the same dead man voted 5 times.
