Zimmerman found NOT GUILTY by the jury .
The state of Florida, if a defendant is found not guilty in a self-defense case, must reimburse the defendant for all legal fees and costs.

Honest, I'm kinda surprised by the verdict, very happy, but surprised.
Now we will see what the Feds do.

I wish him well, but fear his life is going to be in turmoil for a very long time. Like Ricco said we have to wait and see what the Feds do. They should be smart enough to know they can't win that either. But Holder is a racist that holds power to spend fed funds on a lost cause.

Well, first ... Zimmerman's attorneys would show them the FBI report and investigation that said their conclusion was that Zimmerman did nothing due to Trayvon's race, nor was Zimmermin prejudice, etc. due to race.... they could find "NOTHING" in his background to show he was prejudiced or biased at all in regards to a person's race. So, I don't see anything in that first paragraph would imply he's in any trouble at all.
Zimmerman, seemed to pick up on Trayvon because he was dressed like a thug (which is what the FBI also says) and that he appeared to be checking houses/apartments ......
Most civil rights attorneys I've seen interviewed about it, say they don't have a chance to convict Zimmerman if they file anything and would be amazed if anything ever got filed.
the only reason the NAACP and Sharpton officially made the request of the DOJ is, that someone has to file a complaint and a request for them to be able to investigate, etc.

But everyone listens to Obama. Notice where the riots occurred? All the states with the strictest gun laws. And the most electoral votes.
I would rather have any one of those six women jurors running this country than who is now.

Read this on KWCH this morning. www.kwch.com/news/kwch-jcg-hu...,2542787.story "We'd like to say we respect our justice system," former Kansas lawmaker Melodie McCray-Miller says. "However, this verdict was definitely a miscarriage of justice." The group also wants Kansans to demand legislative action. "There are too many guns," rally organizer Mary Dean says. "Too many guns!" Similar to Florida, Kansas state law allows people to use deadly force if they feel their lives are threatened. "I think the law needs to be changed," McCray-Miller adds. "You don't have the right to kill someone just because you think you are in harm's way."So, she doesn't think we have a right to self-defense?
