There is in the news that Colorado is recalling a couple of Democrats that they can over their vote on the gun rights.
That is where i grew up and figured the people wouldn't take it lying down.

good deal, maybe it will wake some of the others up as well.
Hope they get real serious about not re-electing a lot of them too in the next election.

I see both of them lost after the recall votes. Colorado may be full of democrats but won't put up with their state legislators messing with their gun rights.

I've got cousins in both Pueblo & Colorado Springs. I was surprised a Democrat even got elected in CO Springs, as with Focus on the Family there, plus a lot of other Christian ministries, I thought it was more conservative than that. I don't know my Pueblo cousins well, but one (or more) married a Hispanic, so I could believe they are gun-loving Democrats. I'm just glad the voters sent a message in favor of our 2A rights.

Just never could understand why (at least in the last 20-30 years) how a conservative could be a Democrat. The Democrat party doesn't seem to support any conservative positions. I agree that there are plenty of Republicans who aren't conservative, but at least we've got enough to have some influence. (Now if we could get the Tea Party people in the party leadership, and get rid of the spineless, we'd be a lot better off.)

The vast majority of those conservatives in Colorado are Hispanic. They all register democrat even though they are as far a right conservative as I am.
I am going to register as an Independent. Not going to stick with the Republican party. They aren't going to have anyone that can win by 2017.
At least those in Colorado will reform their Democratic party as they vote out those who stomp on what they consider their rights.
There were plenty and most all the testimony before the Legislature passed the travesty of gun control laws was against them passing those laws.
You ignore the wishes of the people in Colorado and take bloomberg money you will find yourself on the way out of the legislature.

Well, they lost the recall elections and their jobs. I was amazed the one REP immediately started repeating the talking points that DNC-Schultz was putting out..... that they lost only because of "voter suppression". Shows the Rep was following the DNC agenda & talking points... rather than her constituency. Her campaign staff stated they were shocked that they lost.... when they heard the results, and didn't think there was anyway they would lose the vote. Guess they thought with the DNC's & Bloomberg's money, and following the DNC's agenda, they couldn't lose. Ooooops, but they did. That doesn't fit their model.
Glad they got voted out of office. Hope it sends a good message to the others. Those in Colorado are posting that the Governor is now changing his tune ... and now saying "he really wasn't that fond of the bills" ..... problem is , he signed them and consequently they became the law. He had his chance to veto and kill them, and he didn't. So, I don't think his "change" now .. is going to help him much in the next election.
