Go donate blood. It may help those in Moore OK.
This is the simplest form of life saving any person can do.
Often overlooked.
I will be going tomorrow to do just that as I haven't been for awhile now.
I used to donate every time I could but my time got used up other places but now is the time to think of all those in need and I feel it is important to help with life giving blood donations.
There is enough man power on the ground there to find the survivors.
There will be a great need for the Docs and nurses and the life giving blood.

Sounds like most injuries were minor, or ended up in death. Doesn't sound like there is much in between A & Z... unfortunately.
Brownbach called Okla and offered them any help that they may need.... glad he did that.

There will be need for blood. I have tried to get folks to understand how blood banks work for a long time. It doesn't hurt nor do you suffer for donating blood.

I would wait until the Red Cross asks for blood donations. I remember there was another disaster (9-11?) where lots of people donated blood that wasn't needed.
My brother who lives in OKC said they don't have water, because the electric power to pump water out of the lake that provides much of the municipal water is out. He said he was going to clean out his closet and take clothes to the Salvation Army. From what I hear, donations of things like bottled water, diapers, clothes, etc. is what they were asking for as of yesterday. Rusty Eck Ford in Wichita is taking donations that they'll truck down to Moore.
