What works in a gunfight? What a surprise, moving targets are harder to hit. Who knew!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a little long and may have to read a couple of times to get all the information. I believe in all 3 .... stand, move, cover.... all depending upon the situation, the person shooting at me & what they are doing, etc. I don't think there is 'one' do all be all.

I believe in one more. That is charge in if they are close and take the fight to the attacker. You would be surprised at how hard it is to shoot someone that surprises you with an attack when you thought you were instilling fear in them.
I hate knives with all my heart. I have been stabbed and cut badly while all I had was my bare hands to defend myself.
You never want to give a person a chance to stick you twice.
Some times it is just fight hard suffer and win or die. No amount of moving shooting or cover will get you out of what you got yourself into. Just guts and grit will save the day for you. Then you go about healing up.
