According to Colorado law and RMGO which is the equivalent to KSRA in Kansas. CCH is legal to do in Denver.
Denver PD denies that it is, but they would be the ones who are wrong.
The only way home rule applies in Denver is to open carry.
imho

If I had free legal representation, I might test that law. (Assuming I wanted to be in Denver.) Unfortunately, I think that a law suit will be the only way to prove to the Denver PD that they're wrong.

I will carry in Denver any time I end up there. Email Dudley Brown and I believe he will tell you that the RMGO would help out in the event DPD makes an arrest since you are within the laws of the State of Colorado.

Denver wants to challenge that the State can pre-empt cities and they think "home rule applies" .... they are wrong, and it's been ruled on by so many courts it's flat out stupid to think 'home rule' applies. But, some people learn slower and learn it harder, than others.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that it already did go to the CO Supreme Court, and they found against Denver. Also IIRC, Denver didn't change the law, but has already been ruled invalid.
However, some points in CO do apply, as to the City's rights to restrict, one was the prohibition on carrying on public transportation operated by the city. Not that anyone here would ever do such a thing, but just that some of those restrictions were upheld.
Also, don't expect the same respect you would likely get in most of KS for your rights from the Denver PD or DA. Basically "Civilians" with firearms are "trouble" to them.

The Rocky Mountain Gun owners will stand behind any member that gets crossed up by the DPD. It is worth paying a membership to that organization if you are going to spend time in Denver.
The state law pre-empts Denver laws. For concealed carry. Home rule still applies to open carry in Denver.
Any other city in the State open carry is allowed.
DPD has alway been one of the most corrupt police departments in this nation.

Not in CO, but this reminds me...if I'm not mistaken and it hasn't been changed, you cannot carry on a bus in Missouri. It seems that is one place that will really get you in trouble(like C felony)...it's also one of the places you can really expect trouble...ironically. I have read something about changing this last year, but, never did a follow to see if it passed.
