They continue to show their ignorance, since all of these require going thru an FFL, doing a 4473 form, and having a background check thru NICS.
I did write Pompeo, Moran, and Roberts.... and covered US Title 18 and the 1968 Gun Control Act do require this and are all part of the present Fedl Laws..... and wondered when someone was going to call these guys out for lieing to the American people.... and the Congress wonders why they have a "credibility" issue with the American people ? They need to be "called out" on it.

I too keep asking them to show me one law on the Fed books yet that has prevented a crime. They kind of dodge around answering it. I keep pointing out Obama's people sold illegal guns to the Mexican cartels. If someone needs to be disarmed it is the Executive branch. LOL
When I call they are busy doing other things now days. I reckon they already think they have heard enough of me.

I've noticed Moran's comments have gotten stronger on the 2nd Amendment as things have gone along... which makes me think he's seen the 'Great Oz' was hiding behind the curtain the whole time.
Dear Mr. The U.S. Constitution guarantees that "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." Thank you for sharing with me your concerns regarding the most recent attempts to restrict the Second Amendment rights of Americans. The Second Amendment right of Americans to keep and bear arms must be protected. While much needs to be done to prevent violent crime in our nation, I am convinced that more gun control laws are not the answer. I will continue to support the freedoms of Americans and oppose any legislation before Congress that violates our gun rights. On March 28, 2013, I signed a letter authored by Senators Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, and Mike Lee stating our intent to oppose any legislation that would infringe on the constitutional right of Americans to bear arms. I will be sure to remember your comments when the Senate considers gun control measures. I am grateful for the opportunity Kansans have given me to serve them in the United States Senate. If you are interested in learning more about my efforts on your behalf, I encourage you to visit moran.senate.gov. Please let me know if I can be of service to you or your family in the future.
Very truly yours,
Jerry Moran

Indeed they have gotten stronger and more to the values of those he serves.
Roberts is only half as staunch as Moran is imho
