A "personal collection" gun auction today. Talk about a "collection". I typically hate gun auctions because of how crazy people get at them. I've seen too many where bidders go higher for a very used one, than it would cost them for a new one.
Had to coach a soccer game this a.m. ... 30*F & snowing, they called all of the other games after ours (thanks, gee). LOL So, I knew I would be late to the auction, it started at 10 a.m and I was there by 10:45 a.m. Wouldn't you know it, the 5 guns I was interested in, all had been sold before I even got there. Ran into my cousin and he had kept track of what the guns went for ..... all good to low prices. It was actually, a reasonable auction as far as prices / bids were going.
It really sucked that all 5 of them were in the front end of the auction. Lots of good guns going for pretty reasonable prices.
They had a Merwin Hubert in the last part of auction, but didn't stick around at that point to see what it went for.

What were they? Yeah it stinks to miss out on a chance for what you really want.
Good on you for coaching the soccer game in the cold morning.

Way too risky...good thing I don't live over that way. MKII's, S&W 29-3, Winny Mod. 70's, Winny Mod. 12 16ga, CZ550...my wallet might have gotten lighter.
