Since this forum software is different than the most used forum software it has some things that can't be done to it.
Like the new posts button. Hot posts button.
To get emails to threads you want to follow you must bookmark the thread and then in your personal profile you tell it to send emails or PM of new replies to that forum.
There is also a participated button that will when clicked show you all the threads you have participated in.
It does take some getting used to the format to make it function well.
