I liked the on Republican Representatives comment afterwards..... "you just saw the Democrats commit political suicide today when it comes to the 2014 elections".

I believe that to be true maybe. Colorado is a Democrat state. Most vote Democrat. The ones raising cain with the legislature were many but the majority of the voters in the State that are Democrat didn't show up to support the legislation. They are on the follow Obama path and that will kill that State.
I grew up there. I would have never imagined CO. to give up anything when it comes to gun rights. I have lived long enough to see that happen though.
Makes me more inclined to fight harder even in KS to keep our rights intact.

Very true, we need to never 'assume' anything nor take any of it for granted. Colorado has set that example.

Listen people it does no good to be mad at Colorado for the changes in their laws. It will do good if you email, call and let everyone in the State government know why you won't step foot into Colorado again. I have a son that lives there and a sister, brother and all their kids. I have emailed everyone I can find in the government there telling of my sorrow for what they are about to do. Maybe enough emails the Governor will change his mind about signing the bills into law. I know he has said he would. But let's see how his agenda to be the faithful Democrat allows him to lead his State into obscurity for his choices as governor should he sign the bills. I am so torn over this due to family in the State it really has me in turmoil . I have decided to email every rep I can out there with my feelings about Colorado going this way legislatively . I hope you all do the same too. rmgo.org is the place to stay in touch with the gun owners in the State of Colorado.

TK, none of the natives I know would have ever allowed this to happen. Trouble is, they're being invaded. When it comes to family, there's really no choice to make. You do what you have to do.

I am torn on what to do. My son said they are just going to restrict magazines.
I tried to explain what infringement on rights was to him.
He has a good job there and loves living there. He is not political.
I reckon I failed to get the need to pay attention to the government across to the boy.
I reckon I worked too much overtime and all but it is what it is.

I intend to stay out of that state going forward. No vacations there, no business trips. And no travel on Frontier Airlines. You know what? I'm done with the united states of obama.

I have so much family there I suppose I will someday have to do what I did in CA. Carry illegally.
It sickens me to see my home state going this way. Especially when the vote was railroaded through along a party line.
The people there the majority were against it and vocal about being against it.
I may stay out of the state for a few years though.

You sir are quite correct in that. But too many there voted for the people that are responsible for this happening there. Or just staying home on election day and letting the few run and ruin the state.
