Personally, I think it's time to swear out arrest warrants for the both Holder and Obama, they've repeatedly violated the C.U.S. and laws and consider themselves immune. Nixon thought himself above the law as well. ETA: Ooo, got my third star with this one...

I applaude our Governor for his stance on this. There is nothing un Constitutional about the Kansas law. Holder is trying to buffalo his way through and don't know the way we despise his and Obama's tactics.

I kept my email to Brownbach very short, but very positive about his standing up for us & SB102. Here's his response : Dear XXXXX : Thank you for your very kind words of support and encouragement. It is an honor to serve as Governor of the State of Kansas. Early in our country's history, our Founding Fathers amended the United States Constitution to include the Bill of Rights to assure citizens' freedoms would not be infringed upon in the event that the federal government became an oppressive tyranny. The Second Amendment states that the people have the right to "keep and bear arms." The Kansas Constitution, too, expressly states that the people have a right to "keep and bear arms." As governor, I will always uphold the Constitution of the state of Kansas and the Constitution of the United States of America. I will do everything I can to protect the people's right to own guns and lawfully use them. Again, thank you for sharing your thoughts and recommendations with me. As we continue to move our State forward, please keep me informed on issues that are of concern to you. I encourage you to visit my website at www.governor.ks.gov or contact my office at 785-368-8500. Sincerely, Sam Brownback Governor of Kansas

I too liked reading Kobach's letter to Holder. It flat out stated how most of us feel about them running guns to the cartels.

Holder is trying to buffalo his way through and don't know the way we despise his and Obama's tactics. He also knows they would lose the case in court. Obama / Holder have set precedences in the courts, and now .... it's coming back to haunt them ..... because if it applies here, then it also applies to that.... that ... and that. Which are things they don't want it applied too. It either applies or it doesn't , and if it does it applies to all things of that type....and they have argued both sides of the same coin in different courts, because of what they were wanting. I like the part about being a "Constitutional professor" ..... since Obama claims he was (I don't believe it) ...... but he's saying "so am I, so shove it.... I know my Constitutional Law". LMAO. Well... Obama & Holder aren't holding up nor enforcing so many laws on immigration it's absurd. That in itself are justifications for impeachment.

His Exec order on Immigration is outside of the powers of Congress. It is un-constitutional.

There is an amazing debate going on related to this on Defensive Carry forum.... some arguing, whatever the Fedl Govt says, that's it.... to hell with the Constitution, etc. Some people don't get it.
Missouri passed a similar type law yesterday(?) and it was sent to the Governor to sign, and was passed by a very very wide margin.
